The scammer contacted thriugh instagram claiming he is Tom Cruise. He first sends a direct message thanking for the love and support the target shows online. After some weeks, he begins to say he is in love. He never asked for money or anything for months, suddenly the real scamming begins. He asked for donations for his "projects". Didnt work. Never did. But around Christmas begin to ask for gift cards. This scammer id on instagram is @tom_ cruise_m. He gave a phine number that never worked +13232825249. Hangouts account [email protected] Many reports were made but his account on instagram is still on. Its been 8 months since it all begin, and the guy is still saying he is in love. And something really weird: he does not insist on the scamming very much. He keeps the person on hangouts with the romance thing and the sweet talk is convincing but one request for a gift card purchase was enough. The scamned person is from Brazil.
