Type of a scam Debt Collections

"Rebecca Lewis" called ###-###-#### and ###-###-#### saying that my father in law owes $7000 in back debt to Best Buy and city Bank and they have now taken over the claim. I called my Father in Law with the info and he doesn’t have any accounts with this info.

I called them back and stated that info. "Rebecca" then began to tell me that this was a recorded line and now the debt will be placed on my account. She called out my full name, phone number and my SS# stating that I now owe that amount. I said she was a liar and a scam.
