Type of a scam Tech Support

A man phoned me, said his name was *** *** from TLC Premium Tech Support was calling to say that Avast Virus Protection was no longer able to honor my contract because they were relocating to Australia. They were going to refund my $600. They could not charge it back to the credit card I had paid with but would be able to directly deposit the refund into my checking acct. He took over access to my computer & showed me that he had deposited $4500 into my acct. When I questioned him about why he deposited so much he said it was US regulations for companies out of the country that they must refund this amount. Then he wanted me to go to Walmart & purchase green dot cards. At that point I told him I knew he was a scammer & that there is a special place in hell for people who do these types of things. I hung up & immediately called my bank who assured me my funds were secure but that I should come in to open new accounts. During this time he phoned me 20 times & texted me 3 times so I blocked the number. I notified my credit card company, gave them names of Avast & TLC to dispute their charges.
