Jerry is currently listing an apartment in Indianapolis under the same premise, he’s in NC and cannot meet in person, though I told him I wouldn’t pay anything until I’m able to actually see the apartment. His application felt fishy so I did a Google search and found this complaint. THANK YOU.

Type of a scam Rental

This person who goes by the name Jerry Pegram is scamming people on Craigslist. He lists an ad to rent his apartment because he will be away on assignment to work in North Carolina for the next year or two. It seems like a good deal, but it’s a lie. He will take your money and then block your number. He may have even stolen someone’s identity because he sent me his DL and Chase info to send him payments. It’s really weird.
