Type of a scam Debt Collections
A woman identified herself as a debt collector for Time Warner, telling me I was in arrears for $300. I told her I’d call TW directly and hung up on her. No doubt she would have asked for my credit card if I stayed on the phone with her. When I called TW my account was completely current.
