Type of a scam Online Purchase

On July 19, 2016 I went online to purchase two (2) tickets for the Rat Pack at the Hult Center here in Eugene, OR. I recall putting Rat Pack Hult Center in a bing search. The search led me to the following website:

I was under the impression the tickets were being purchase directly from the hult center ticket office. I wanted the best seats possible and purchased two (2) for a total price of $705.83. This amount was charged to my citi credit card on July 19, 2016. I have the paypal receipts for this transaction and also the credit card charge.

On September 6, 2016 I finally received the tickets in a pdf format and printed them out. I went online to see exactly where the seats were located only to find out these were actually $80 seats.

I called TicketOfficeSales (855-502-6090) 3 or 4 times on September 6, 2016 and finally ended up speaking with a customer support manager. The manager told me that they DO NOT sell tickets that they don’t have in hand and there was nothing they could do about this.

On September 7, 2016 I called the Hult Center directly and spoke with the ticket sales manager. She told me the Rat Pack tickets didn’t go on sale until mid-August 2016. I gave her the location of the seats on the tickets and she informed me the tickets were just purchase on September 2, 2016 by some person in Texas. She then asked my whether or the price for the ticket was still on the ticket – it was removed by TicketOfficeSales – She explained that the tickets I received were altered and therefore invalid.

I called TicketOfficeSales and told them they not only lied about what happened – they also sent me tickets that cannot be used since they’ve been altered. I requested a full refund once again and they refused.
