Type of a scam Family/Friend Emergency

I was called and told I owed the IRS $3,986.73 and that I could not pay this anyway other than to use the EFPtax system and I would need to go to my bank with my cell phone immediately. I was told that if this wasn’t paid immediately, I would lose my driver’s license. When I told them I had no cell phone, they hung up. They also said they had tried to contact me already two times but I did not receive any notification from the IRS, nor did they ask for mine or my husband’s social security number. The phone number I was given to call was 509-295-6453.
