Type of a scam Government Grant

Today, 6/13/2018 I received 2 calls from someone claiming to be from the Federal govt. They claimed I was one of 1700 people selected in Billings, MT to receive a $9,200 grant. I just had to go to Walmart with personal ID and pay $200 to activate a debit card costing $$200 and I would receive $9200 to repay the $200 for the card, and I would receive the "$9200 of grant money". It was obviously B.S. but I told him I would go to Walmart in a couple of hrs.

They called me back about 4 hrs later asking why I had not called him to say I was at Walmart. Told him a reason. By then I had called the BBB and Fed Trade Commission. They confirmed my suspicion that it was a scam. Sorry scammers-I am not falling for your garbage!!!
