I was told that I was eligible for all of my student loans to be forgiven. They told me that they would be forgiven but I would just need to make certain payments on each certain date. I received a phone call from a very unprofessional woman asking for money in regards to making a payment. They were laughing and like I said being very unprofessional. She also ended up hanging up on me once I realized I was being scammed. The number was based out of New York. After that, I called the ScamPulse.com and asked them about this company and they basically were telling me that this wasn’t a legit company. I had to cancel my bank acount and my debit card. Did not get my money back. Fast forward to today, it’s affecting my credit and I need this situation handled because it is fraudulent and I was scammed

Called a number found on a website. Person on phone offered to consolidate loan payments for a fee based on my income. They asked for social security number and information to access my FSAID.ed.gov account and debit card information. After I realized was a scam I made sure my debit account was closed so they could not extract payments. They continue to email me to tell me there is a problem processing my fee.
