Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

This person contacted me by email thru my Scentsy Website to order products. I emailed a copy of the cost of the products. They sent me another email stating that they sent a cashier’s check thru USPS, but the sponsor sent it for the wrong amount – copied verbatim below:

"I also want you to know that the amount which was sent to you from our project sponsor is more than your asking price because he mistakenly sent my traveling fees along with the money for his expenses.

Hope I can have trust in you that you will send the rest funds for my flights. I would let you know the name and address which you would remit the rest of the funds to.

I hope I can trust you with the rest of the funds for my flight.
