The scammer called me and it sounded like a recording. They asked if I could hear them well and I said "yes". They immediately hung up. Because I was sitting a computer I googled that the gifting company called me and here I am now filling out this report. The call occurred about five minutes ago.

Hi, this is Joe from the gifting department, you can press one to be removed. Can you hear me okay? To which I responded, yeah I’m not interested very quickly and then pressed 1 like a dummy before hanging up. After realizing what I probably did, I googled this and it confirmed my suspicions. Hopefully, I won’t get ripped off.
