Type of a scam Tech Support

Originally contacted by Tech Support in Nov. 2018 when I got an alert on my computer that I was being hacked. Could not get off the computer until I called the number displayed on the screen. (Professed to be Microsoft Security) At that time I paid about a $1000.00 To have several things removed from computer and purchased their security product. Also told to call them monthly to run a computer scan. I did not do that. Received a call from them on 4/24/2019 telling me I had not called them to run a scan and that there is a very bad virus attacking computers. I let them run another scan and was told there were 10 attempts to hack my computer and capture passwords, personal info. etc. They said it was important for me to upgrade to a Sonic Wall Security and they would install it for $1000.00 I was not initially wanting to do it but they were very persuasive. After paying for the security I became very concerned that it could be a scam. I tried to cancel my payment but couldn’t. I clicked on their Sonic Wall Icon that was put on my desk top and it wanted to do make changes on my computer, I clicked yes, then clicked out of it before it was done and then the icon disappeared from desk top.
