I received a call from the number 615-685-2968 it was a man who stated my name and address then he asked me is this correct. I said and who is this I asked? He said he is with Tennessee Homebuyers and is planning to buy 2 properties in this area and asked if I was interested in getting a cash offer for my property, and he asked of recent upgrades, and I shared we had some improvements done and the condition rating excellent. He said there are no closing cost and no repairs required, and could I move within an agreed upon time between 2 and 6 weeks after sale was complete? That’s possible maybe. He asked desired price range and I gave a round about one, and then he said he’d give me a call back in 24 to 48 hours with an offer and then we’re off the phone. And I thought…. but he did not plan a walk through of the property to evaluate and estimate a value, but yet I will get a cash offer?? I immediately went to the ScamPulse.com website and entered the company name used. A review said imposters are using their company name scamming home owners. I went on their Facebook page and found there also they had a post stating the same warning, that scammers are calling home owners using their company name. The legitimate company clearly states on all their sites, they do not ever practice cold calling homeowners. They only return calls and answer messages in response of people who have contacted them.
