Type of a scam Employment

I was contacted on linkedin by a guy named, Smith Lemons, and told about a job opportunity and to email him personally at [email protected] I did and was emailed back by the owner of the Tehnaki Industry with this email,

I have indeed open up your representative partnership file along with your details and would be forwarding it to the management team for review, prior to more details, we do not have a branch office yet in Canada and United States, we are planning on setting up a branch office and that is why we have decided to partner with an individual or company to help us foresee every activities going on with the company and its customer, we would want our representative to have clear documentation of orders and payments from their region so as to help us have a good accounting record system as we would not be able to follow up with all our customer from here in Japan and so we decided to have representatives who would communicate with customers on our behalf and report to us (this would not take more than 4-5 hours a week), the company has decided to have all payments from customers remitted through our representatives from their region so they can keep accurate records of all payments from their region within a given period of time.

The company representative would be in charge of every new orders and payment from their region and the representative should be able to keep a clear records of all payments at every period in time, and will have 5% official commission deducted from any payment received, The $5,000 USD monthly salary is been paid at the end of every working month through a direct wire transfer or company check which so ever method is best for the representative.

I would inform you of our decision as soon as we have concluded, if you are approve, your details above will be used to prepare an agreement which should be forwarded to you within the next business day. We look forward to having a long term business relationship with you.

It seemed legit enough. They also have a website that is pretty detailed. I responded multiple times saying I want to speak to someone in person or by phone before signing any documents. They also hired me to make $60k a year working part time. They never interviewed me, explained the process, nothing.

The only link they sent me was to a PDF file that detailed my hiring. It was not a website, just a document.

So I believe this is a scam because of the details, but it seems very real.
