Type of a scam Employment

*** ***, a trendy clothing label, targets teen girls and young women on social media. The company tells every person who reaches out for a job as a paid model that they will in fact receive a paid modeling gig, but first they must purchase their clothing. Of course those who purchase the clothing find that the paid gig never comes, and they’ve just been ripped off. They have sent me, and hundreds of others, an email every day for six weeks promising that I will receive a legitimate modeling gig very soon, but in the meantime, I should use their exclusive, "model discount," to purchase their clothing. The promised, second email with a real job offer never comes, and many young girls fall into the trap, as they are literally promised fame by the company if they post pictures of their clothes on social media. I’m not sure if any of this actually illegal, but they are absolutely tricking young girls into promoting their clothing for free, with no intention of providing the compensation that they have heavily implied, and that certainly isn’t right.

Ordered and received product that was not at all what was shown on website. Shirt was not authentic, was a simple shirt made by a cheap, typical t-shirt company that we probably could of gotten for $3 ourselves. Not $30 like we paid. Disappointed with quality, look and price paid for product after realizing what it really was. Checked online and many complaints listed citing same practices. Many people said they had to send this email that led them to another email and so on to try and remedy the problem and that it led them nowhere. Not an easy or successful fix for the problem. Thinking modeling promise is probably a scam too, or at least just thrown in there to lure buyers into spending money on their product. Will not be ordering again. This happened to my underage teenage daughter which looks to be their targeted audience.

This company has been gaining attention over the years and allowing people to realize it is a scam. It lures in teenagers with a promise of being a “paid model”. However, I ordered a $50 denim jacket in a large and it came about two months later. The item was correct and the tag says large but it seemed to actually fit as an extra small. The company never returns customer support emails and the phone number doesn’t work. Any product that you buy from them will have the name of a different company on the tag and parcels that it shipped in. Teenagers are constantly ordering clothes from this website without reading about other peoples’ experiences. Even there *** is filled with fake, repetitive comments from fake accounts. Very disappointing.

This business is promoting for people to become paid models for them as long as you buy the product. The fact is you send them the money and sign up but never receive your product. I was told my product was on back order then Shortly after i received an email saying the product I ordered was restocked but never sent to me. I contacted them multiple times regarding this issue and i receive to response, no product, and no refund.
