BBB received a call from a customer regarding her recent dealings with a computer repair company that contacted her via a pop up on her computer. They claimed she had a virus and needed to clean up her computer.  She said she fell for it and after talking with her son realized that her computer probably did not need any work.  The company had operators sounding like they were from India. It has cost them $369 and now they are fearful of what the company may do with the information they have access to on her computer.  The company she said was  from NY and Reno, NV.  She is going to monitor future activity and try to cancel.
