Type of a scam Tech Support

I had a pop-up on my computer that told me I had a Trojan virus and had to call this number. Alen convinced me that he could clean my computer if I gave him remote access and it would cost $100. He then offered to keep it clean for a year for $250. Before I agreed to it, my wife did an Internet search and found that this company had multiple complaints for this scam. I had already given him remote access but clicked off the internet after I told him that we found it was a fraud.
