Type of a scam Tech Support

I had to return a netflx card to Home Depot in Vancouver b.c. Canada. The asst. manager called a phone # for Netflix he got online and after he told them I had a faulty card and after I confirmed my identity they told him to give me the phone # and that I was to call them when I returned home and that they would be working on my problem in the mean time. They led him and I to believe that the problem was not with the card, but with my system! They proceeded to try and con me out of $900!!!!!As it turned out, when I returned to Home Depot the next day and informed them they refunded me my cash and I bought another card. It was a faulty card all along. While I was at HOME DEPOT they called the Phone # they provided me with and got someone claiming to be Amazon!!!!! I have since informed both Amazon and Netflix what happened. They were both aware of these sorts of crimes. The scammers have called me back looking for money and, I have to admit, I had a little fun at his expence. He was so obviously sitting in India somewhere, claiming to be in California, with such a heavy Indian accent. He told me his name is John Smith!!! The day before it was Jeffery Lewis!!!!! I hope you can shut these guys. Thank You
