Scammer posted an ad on FaceBook stating that they had Teacup Poodle Puppies for sale. Emails, texts, and phone calls occurred throughout the process, beginning with a request for payment of the puppy. Within two days, the scammer had requested additional funds for things including an air conditioned carrier (for the puppy’s airline transportation), puppy insurance, and payment for paperwork required to transport the puppy across state lines.
