Type of a scam Online Purchase

There is blatant false advertisement on this site that unambiguously advertises free shipping on individual products. However, the unqualified "Free US Shipping" advertised on individual products is not obtainable at any point at checkout. When I called the sole number provided for customer service and pointed this out–and that I indeed live within the continental U.S.–the customer service representative told me the "free shipping" advertised on the product applies to "orders above $50USD," and therefore did not apply for this $46 product. (Nowhere in the clear advertisement for free US shipping is this $50 or above caveat indicated–nor was this anticipated.) She would not acknowledge in any way that the website states that there is free shipping on a product sold for $46USD. I asked to speak with another representative, and after she tried to get out of transferring my call and said "nobody will say anything different," she finally connected me to an invalid extension. When I called back, she cited the reason why the extension was invalid as being that "people are at lunch"–a telephonic curiosity. When I asked if there was any way I could get in touch with anyone else, whomsoever, at the business, after lunch, she tried to dissuade me from doing so–indicating the utter correctness and infallibility of her claim that this product saying "free US shipping" was not inconsistent with denying completely–through all means–free shipping on that product. False advertisement is against the law, and I do not believe it is acceptable to casually break that law for profit–especially when it is easy to abide by given the vast number of companies in the United States which are able to do so. The fact that the advertised promotion is not being honored by the automated checkout process on the cite AND that the only available customer service person refuses to honor an incorrectly advertised promotion is to me sufficient to establish culpability for this overt legal infraction by the company–which doubtlessly affects a significant portion of their customer base.
