Type of a scam Online Purchase

I ran across this online company (Tailor Hacks) via Instagram. They were selling the most precious shoes. I ordered not one, but two pair, in different colors because I loved the style. It took well over 6 weeks for the item to arrive. When I opened the package I was livid. The shoes looked NOTHING like they were advertised. In addition, the stench of chemicals when I opened the package took my breath away. Rather than having wooden soles, there was a "wood like" sticker wrapped around the foam sole. In addition, the leather shoe looked more like plastic and the glue used to attach the shoe to the sole was visible from every angle of the shoe. After further research, it seems this company used photos from Free People, it was their Before Sunset Clog. I immediately sent an email explaining that I would like a refund, IN NOVEMBER 2018. They emailed me back and said they couldn’t offer me a full refund, only partial unless I mailed the item back. After much hesitation, I did mail the item back to the address they provided to me. I also emailed them back with a copy of the shipping label, again, just as they asked me to. In the meantime, I had lodged a complaint with PayPal disputing the payment because these folks were so shady. But because I didn’t want to ship the item back at my expense (in the beginning), Paypal ruled in their favor and closed the case. Now IN FEBRUARY 2019, I am still battling back and forth with this so-called "company" trying to get my refund. Their first excuse was that I mailed the item to the wrong address. WRONG, I mailed it to the address I was provided BY THEM. Now they are saying that they can’t process the refund because the Paypal dispute is still open. I’ve sent multiple screenshots of the PayPal resolution center dispute page showing the matter as closed. So now, as we verge on almost four months of back and forth, I still haven’t received a refund-just snarky, broken English responses trying to make excuses for why they can’t issue the refund. Also, it is to be noted that even though I’ve sent my emails to the same email address each time, when I receive responses they all have different names and signature lines. This company is a complete SCAM!!
