Type of a scam Rental

This company is listed as a Commercial Contractor & Construction & Renovating Services on BBB. When I met Mr. Hxxxxxxxx it was on the basis of an AD I seen online for some rental properties. I gave them (X X Proprties) a call & was told to come in to fill out an application before scheduling a viewing. My fiance & I drove to 13xxx  xxxxxdxxx in xxx xxxxk. The building wasn’t fully finished so that already raised a RED FLAG. Instead of the property I intially came for, he offered to me a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom house for the amount of $600/month because I was looking to move immediately, it sounded GREAT we were EXCITED. He then mentioned to me that a lady who previously was interested in the place withdrew her security deposit because she thought it was a scam. I’m like okay RED FLAG #2. So he had a gentlemen show us the rental property, there was still things that needed to be done so my fiance & I decided to wait on leaving any kind of deposit. Once I returned home I began to do my research on this company, hard to find ANYTHING regarding real estate or realty. I took another route, I began to search the places T Hxxxx had listed for rent online. I soon realized that EVERY single property is due for foreclosure. So be careful who you give your money to, and before doing so do a thorough search. In conclusion, what I came up with is that this company is renting out properties that is subject to foreclosure.
