Type of a scam Tech Support

I was shopping on amazon, when all of a sudden my computer locked up and started sounding off a VERY loud alarm. Saying to call Microsoft support to stop it, & that it happened due to illegal activity with our IP address, our computer wouldn’t do anything, So we called. After some fake tech support, he tried to get us to type in personal info on the computer sticky notes, & asking for a payment for $300 for a “protection program”, argued when we became skeptical, and started talking about how it seems like HES the scammer. He kept saying we’re wrong. He had remote access of our computer the whole time. Then when we said we were gonna hang up, he said we have to say “yes” to understand if anything happens to our computer, that the company isn’t liable. He’s really wanted us to say the word “YES”. I assume it’s to record our electronic signature. SCAM
