Type of a scam Debt Collections

Repeatedly receiving collection notices via USPS from Synter Resources Group, LLC stating a UPS balance of $72.76 with no explanation of what it is for exactly. Have contacted UPS who has repeatedly told us we owe them nothing and have not been turned over to any collection agency for non-payment. When calling Synter # listed on the letter, there is only dial tone. No message, no business no nothing. When checking this out online there appears to be many others who have had the same experience as well. Do not intend to pay this item as long as the vendor they say we owe money to says we do not.
