I got a call from 800-292-7508, my caller ID said Synchrony. I pressed 1 that I was not interested. A man came on and said then I guess you don’t want to lower your interest rate, and hung up.

Received a credit card solicitation in the mail. It said that I’d been selected based on my credit history supplied by Transunion. There was a note on the mailing that said, "If you’d like to stop receiving these types of solictations, call this number and we’ll take you off our list." So, I call the number to get off the list. The first thing they ask you is what is your SSN.
