Received an automated message that stated–This is Susan Mullins and I’m contacting you in reference to legal allegations that are being filed against you. We are requesting a verbal statement form you. Failure to respond will result in a forfeiture of your rights and a process server will be contacted to have you served at your home or place of employment. Press zero now to speak to a mediator. You have ben officially notified.

I returned the call and was threatened over a old payday loan. Ms. Conner at extension 3002 threatened to escalate this to wire fraud over $500 and stated that failure to pay immediately or she would press criminal charges for wire fraud. She also deemed me as a flight risk and threatened to have my drivers license/passport revoked unless I made immediate payment.

Texas statute of limitations is 4 years, this was from 2012/13.

Ms. Conner also stated that they did not legally have to provide me information about the original debt or original debt holder.
