Type of a scam Tech Support

while on internet, alert popped up on my computer saying computer was infected with a zeus virus and computer was locked, screen notified me to call 855 number for tech support who informed me my computer was infected and IP address was hacked. They identified themselves as being Supportcart Solutions, LLC and said they needed remote access to do diagnostics and clean virus from computer, asked for name, address and credit card info to charge $199.99 for this service. They indicated that they were a "trusted" vendor for Microsoft. They also tried to sell me up to $2000 worth of anti-virus software. I paid for the zeus virus fix, but declined additional anti-virus software offers. Called back after 45 min to say it was fixed. Have since learned that this is a scam.
