I was contacted by these people who said that they were the Department of Education and they were going to help me with my student loans that were about to default. They contacted me several times a day via phone, text and email. The mans name is Patrick Kelly and he texted and called me from (801) 890-7368,(516) 926-8457, (213) 559-3639, (801) 464-4078 which he says was the direct line. He said the company was Student Resolution Center. I was told to pay $799.00 and that would keep me out of default and the rest of my loans would be paid $25.00 a month for 10 years. They obviously weren’t legitimate because they contacted the actual Department of Education, who contacted me and they told me they had no idea who those people were and the Department of education does not charge anything to help you with your student loans. I’ve called this company several times to get my $799.00 refunded but now nobody answers or returns my messages. When I send emails to the addresses that I had, they come back deliverable. I can’t afford to just give away $799.00 and need my money back.
