I was told today by the Department of Education that the people i was paying who said that they would take care of my student loans was not who they said they were and that not one cent of the 1032.00 I sent them even went to my loans.

My son received a call from this company saying that they could help him with student loan consolidation, we believe this is a scam. After reading other complaints from BBB. It took over an hour for them to answer phone, the lady tried to tell us it was not her company that had the complaints, same address and phone number as on ScamPulse.com website for complaints. They took my son’s debit card info and immediately have tried to take money out, please be aware of this site, I don’t believe it is a legitmate company.

I have been contacted twice so far by this company, always by a blocked number.

The call is initiated by a recording claiming to be calling as a compliance for student loan forgiveness. You are then greeted a receptionist who screens you to make sure you have over $10k in student loan debt and have been out of school for over 6months, you are then transferred to another representative.

The next representative asks your name, email address, income, etc. When I requested the company name during the first call, they claimed to be calling from the department of education. When asked for a website they instructed that all the information would be included in the email. Eventually when they avoided all my questions about who they are, they disconnected.

When asked for the company name during the second call, they informed me they were calling from Student Education Center. When I asked them for a website, they said it would all be in the email. I told them I didn’t want to give them any more personal information until they gave me their website – they then hung up on me.
