I was called by the above number at work. They left a voicemail that said I might be eligible for a grant to repay my student loan. I returned the call and was prompted to hit one to speak with an operator or hit 9 and be removed from the list. I did both. I was curious to know what student loans I had since I’ve never been to college and therefore have no student loans. A man named Marcus Woods answered the call and I asked what student loans I had. He promptly hung up on me. I called back. Same guy answered. I asked him why he had hung up on me. He said it wasn’t him. I said yes it was you. You said your name is Marcus you’re the one who just answered the call. I asked what student loans I had and why you called me. He said do you have student loans? I asked him why you would call someone about a student loan forgiveness program if that person didn’t have student loans. He didn’t have an answer. Student aid group was the name of the company he gave me. I asked for a website. He said student aid group.com. I checked it no such website exists.
