Type of a scam Online Purchase

We were contacted on Sept. 15, 2016 regarding Stone Mountain Real Estate Holdings LLC’s desire to purchase a fractional timeshare we own at Diamante Dunes in Cabo San Lucas, BCS Mexico, and he told us there was going to be a change to Article 27 of the Mexican Constitution in early 2017. The first person to call was Christopher Medina (1-866) 354-0969 Ext. 4. After him calling 2 or 3 times, we were contacted from the same phone number, Ext. 5, by a man named Mackenzie Davis, who told us we would be dealing with him from that point forward. He sent us a contract offering $68,450, which was $18,450 more than we paid for our original purchase of our timeshare. We did not execute or return the contract because after advising Mackenzie Davis we would like to contact Diamante Dunes to make sure we had complied with all necessary items, Diamante advised that they are currently investigating Stone Mountain Real Estate Holdings for scams involving timeshare owners in Mexico. The two individual names on the contract are President Douglas Hoffman and Vice President Andrew Watson.
