Type of a scam Online Purchase

I found an ad for a rottweiler puppy on Recycler.com and reached out via text. I was informed the puppy was still available and would be shipped to me. After back and forth communication to learn about the process and more about the puppy, I decided to move forward. I was told that the price advertised was all inclusive. I paid a $250 deposit via CashApp and was informed that once the dog delivery was registered, an email confirmation would be sent to me. I called to follow up, as I did not receive an email, and was told that the delivery company required a crate. When I spoke to the scammer, I was also told that the puppy needed a vaccination and an email would be sent to me with more info. I received the email and was suspicious of the email address and messaging. It requested that I pay for 3 vaccines and a crate, which would require additional fees outside of what was advertised. It stated that I would receive some of the fees back after the puppy was delivered. At that time, I cancelled the transaction and was lost the deposit.
