Type of a scam Employment

I was contacted for employment to be a secret shopper from one of many job sites on the internet. I received a package form USPS with instructions and a check for $3725.00 from a bank in Galva IL. I was told to evaluate Home Depot and Staples for the 1st survey and Western Union and Money Gram for the 2nd survey. I was to deposit the check wait at least 24 hours but not more than 48 and go shopping with the $50 allotted money from the check. Due to the problems they are having with Western Union and Money Gram I was to set up a transfer from each for $1600 a piece. and send to a name and address in the Philippines. To finalize the assignment I was to email the reference and control numbers to the email address I have in the instructions.
