Type of a scam Online Purchase
An individual I know, not to well, sent me a link to a coupon deal for video games. He stated it was for a company called Steam, it turned out to be for a company called Steam Crate. I am sure they will state that everything in their website is marked clearly, and it is. But it was falsely presented by the person who sent the email. The email clearly states Steam Crate as well. So it is a he said / she said case, with regard to the company Steam. I lost my 20 Bucks and lesson learned. Also the have a 5 Pound referral for people who send customers their way. Not sure if the guy that sent me the email got anything or if the daily dot web site did. But just want to inform you so you can get the word out.
