On August 11 at about 4 pm I received a call which showed state Farm insurance on the caller Id. I answered it because I am insured through that company.The person talked in a very bad Mid eastern accent. I supposedly won over 9,000 dollars and do not have to pay it back. I could not understand the person as he used numbers to identify me. He finally give me my address. I told him no thanks but he continued to push. I know no one would give me over 9,000 dollars. I hung up. I notified my State Farm Agent and they have no contest in progress at this time. I am 72 years old but know a possible scam to get my financial Information.. I could use over 9,000 dollar but I would not bit on the offer as I know it is to good to be true. My agent thinks it is from a burner phone and stated they will let BBB. know so you can follow up with them.
