I was looking for a job and an email from john roger said I was a good fit; just click on a link to begin the interview process. I did, went through the process and was told I was hired. There was no human contact; all was done through emails from an interviewer, payroll department and training supervisor. Each one used a gmail account, not one contact had any business name. No company logo was seen. I would need to set up a home office until the local location was opened next month. I received a check for $3988.00 written from an account of a lock & key company in New Jersey, sent overnight by Federal Express from a company called BeastGrip in Illinois. I foolishly deposited this check in our account and let them know when it cleared. They wanted me to send a portion in cash ($1800.00) to their vendor in Pennsylvania for the equipment needed. The clerk at Walmart recommended I not continue this, that it was a scam. I stopped everything, made a police report, closed the bank account, changed email and cell phone number as they had all this info. They made the usual threats after I stopped emails such as the trouble I would be in, I could go to jail. I am writing this one week after the end of this and have not been contacted from them since. I hope this helps someone.

I filled out a job posting on indeed. About customer Service representative full time/ part time employment for a company named instapolling. First they sent me a text message from +1 (281) 942-1745. Told me to add Jennifer Hankin to google hangout, which is like a instant messaging. Jennifer then told me that the company will send me a company check to purchase the materials and I had to instant message Troy bannister who was suppose to be my training supervisor and he told me the check will be mailed and I had to deposit it into my bank account. The check however was a legitimate check but the account was closed.
