Type of a scam Online Purchase

I signed up for a free 14-day trial. They sent me two diet supplements and apparently I didn’t read the small print. They then charged my debit card account for $89 and $87 dollars. When I called to cancel I got an automated system that allowed me to cancel and "future" orders. So I talked with a customer service representative who basically told me that I hadn’t canceled in the 14 days so I was simply paying for the product I had already received. We went round and round with her budging until I threatened to call the ScamPulse.com and any federal agency that applies. Then she said "if you’ll stop talking I can tell what options are available to you." So I ended up with a 50% refund on both products. I’m out $90.

This is a really shady company with unethical tactics. They know many of us won’t read the fine print and then they refuse to provide a refund.

Don’t make my mistake. Don’t fall for these online scams. My credit union said it was an authorized payment and they couldn’t help unless they company didn’t work with me. These scammer know all the ins and outs. You should too.
