Same here to a point. I found the listing for Sprigthly Labrador Retrievers; however, no phone or address listed. Somehow I found they were around Lynchburg, VA (can’t find that info again). I inquired about two of the puppies by filling out their contact page – name, phone number, which puppy and zip. I heard back from them within a few hours. They responded within 24 hours asking for more info about why I wanted the puppy, how soon, etc. I sent them information and also requested name, phone number, address, something that I could confirm was legit. So many locations are scams and if they weren’t, they would be more than happy to comply. They responded asking me to send them my phone number and they would call. I looked online everywhere – AKC, BBB, Chamber of Commerce, online background, email, etc. and can’t find anything. I won’t reply as there are RED FLAGS all over. I’m so glad I found the above response before getting back to them. I’ll wait for a local breeder to have a puppy.

Type of a scam Online Purchase

The product is puppies. We are looking for a pet dog and found listing from sprightly Labrador retrievers. We and inquired about dogs. Individual wanted to move very fast and provided what appeared to be a request for information. We sent ours and asked about the dogs.Seemed genuine up to the next step. I asked about a phone number and address for the kennels. They said no-one could pickup the puppies and did not give a phone number or address. He said to make the payment then we could do the paperwork. This really feels like a scam and he wants the money before any paperwork is done. I tried to find kennels called sprightly Labrador retrievers and found none listed. They sent dog pictures. even had a website. When we discussed payment they gave an e-mail address that seems like a personal address, not a business and they want to use Zelle. They said they would send the dog to Alaska for an extra $50. We did not send money and stopped the process.
