Type of a scam Debt Collections

I was contacted at work stating that I owe money to Vince Enterprises LTD in the amount of $450.00. They called is a settlement from a payday loan back in 2012. I never heard of these people and when I Google the phone number in the White Pages it came back as a Scam. They threaten me by coming to my work with the police to collect this debt. So, I complied and paid $91.00 and set up a payment play for the rest of the money owed before I did my research. I stopped the payment and contacted the police department here in Pennsylvania. The payments were withdraw came through as CPMS of New York. There is a CPMS of New York but they are an Insurance Company and not a debt collection agency. I Google AMSG & Associates and it came up as a business in Oregan, so I called and they are not a debt collection company and informed me that it was a scam and I wasn’t the only one. I am stressing out over this because this was not the first time they are trying to get money out of me and it’s very upsetting. They are contacting me again on Monday, but this time I will be ready for them.
