They said I had failed to appear to serve at a federal court. The guy seemed like he was reading from a script. He knew my name, address, phone number. He said that I had been notified by registered mail that I failed to appear in court. After questioning him, he said I had failed to serve in court duty. Because I did not appear for the court date, I had been sent a registered letter notifying me that I had failed to appear. I told him I would have to have more information and that I was very uncomfortable with the conversation. I hung up on him. So far, he/they have not called back. I think his next line was to get me to pay my "fine" to him.
