Type of a scam Tech Support

I was downloading my copy of “Office 2013” when message came up saying error “30029-39/30094” your copy is fine but can’t be installed call 1+845-481-1722 for help. I then called and they requested to attach to my computer to install Office 2013. Unfortunately I let them control my computer and they said I have many problems and they could fix them. Softech4usa then said I needed Windows reinstalled, Office could be installed which would be Office 2016, and I needed protection (installed Mcafee which was a 5 year plan). They uninstalled my Malwarebytes. They sent me an invoice that looked like it came from “Microsoft” for x number of dollars. I did a check for $’s. In the end, they had not changed my Windows, installed my Product Key for Office and mcafee which mcafee informed me that they do not have a 5-year plan.
