The call comes from a person claiming to call from the Social Security Investigations Office.

This person Provides First and Last Name Plus a false Officer Badge I.D #

This person makes up a grand story to scare you into willingly disclosing personal information, but please DON’T.

This person attempts to ask specific questions to guide them into obtaining personal banking information.

If you attempt to verify the legitimacy of the call by asking for a direct number to return the call at a more convenient time, this person will pressure you into providing information istead of being flexible. After questioning the caller, the call conveniently dropped.

I have received five separate automated calls on 3/13/2019. The automated voices claims my social security numbers has had several transactions against it and they need me to call them back, so they can temporarily shut down my SSN.

I have not called back, because I believe this to be a scam.
