Type of a scam Identity Theft

I received a voicemail from the unknown company saying that there is a legal law enforcement action file on my social security number for fraudulent activities. The representative wants me to call that number before I get arrested. So I call the number. The representative identified as Officer James Marshall. He gave me an information about the social security number law. He says that I had a social security fraud and human trafficking on my social security number which came from the state of Texas. Officer Marshall wants me to change my social security number to clear my name. He wants me to take all my money out of my bank accounts, order me to go to all the stores and buy all the gift cards by tracking me with GPS, and provide me a card number and pin number over my phone without anyone around. He wants me to keep my phone on while I doing this. If I turn the phone off and fail to comply, he will issue me a warrant for my arrest.

Please contact your local police department and the Social Security Administration regarding this type of call.  Those officials will discuss the matter with you and advise you if the information given by the caller is indeed factual.

I was called by the number shown stating there was something wrong with my S.S. number. I know that any government office does not call you, they send you mail. I then called the number back two times, and upon doing so was answered by two foreign voices with no information as to who i was. I did not give them information, merely tried to pry information from them. To avail, though.

Someone left a message on my phone saying my social security had been suspended for suspicious activity and to press one for more info. I was a voicemail so I couldn’t press one. Instead I called the ScamPulse.com about it and was told it’s a scam.
