I wanted to get my Instagram writing page off of the ground, but I’m new to Instagram, so I decided to pay for a package that would help me gain followers. I hoped this would help me start figuring out how to gain attention. I did some research and thought Social Package looked legitimate. I paid $5.99 for my package. Their website said the package would be delivered immediately or, in unusual circumstances, 24 to 48 hours. I ordered the package on Monday, after nothing happened by Wednesday, I emailed the company. I received an email saying their servers were down for 12 hours on Wednesday, so they were delayed. I emailed again after 24 hours. I got a similar answer. I emailed 2 or 3 more times. I asked to cancel my order twice and to get my money back twice. Now, I’m not getting any responses. It has been one week since the order. I understand I’m naive about this sort of thing since I’m trying to figure out social media, and $5.99 isn’t too important, but I don’t want other people getting scammed.
