Type of a scam Online Purchase

A weblink from an online magazine article directed me to a fake news item that Angelina Jolie was divorcing Brad Pitt because she was too busy launching her Skin Care product line. You could get a free sample of this miracle skin cream for $4.95, and a sample of the eye cream for another $0.99. I knew it sounded like a scam, but I replied to the offer. Then my credit card was charged by Skin Restore Brand, NV, not only those small amounts, but also $89.95. I called the company and asked for a refund. They refused, offered to refund 35%, $ 31.48. I said it was fraud, and they replied, "You defrauded yourself."
