Twyla Bourgeois is a scammer. She had a Facebook business account advertising her services to help you do your own divorce. She also had a website which is no longer active as well as an office on Main Street. I paid her $300 up front for her so called premium service and an additional $155 for court fees and money orders. She sent me papers by mail which I returned with my original Separation Agreement and Marriage Certificate; however, she didn’t file anything. After that I started getting the run around, then she wouldn’t answer my emails or numerous calls. I have since done research and found out that her Main Street office is now showing "permanently closed", her website is no longer active and her FB business account is closed. I also found reviews from others who had a similar experience and lost money. The worst is that she still has my original legal documents. I filed a report with the RCMP on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018. I also advised FCNB to whom I sent several screenshots. The RCMP also has all my email correspondence with Twyla. I also found another post online where she’s posing as a lawyer with an address in Shediac, NB. Realistically I’ll never see my money again, but the cops said they would try and get my documents back if they can find her, but no guarantees. She needs to be stopped.
