Type of a scam Identity Theft

I placed an ad on Craigslist and within moments I recvd a text from the above phone number indicating they were interested in what I was trying to sell. They then forwarded me a verification code text indicating I should click on the link and then give them the code that appears. The link was to open my gmail account which would have allowed the person texting me access to my personal information. This person tried saying MY post was fake and he/she needed to verify I was real.
