Simonmed imagining quoted a cash price of $171 for a pregnancy ultrasound. After they billed the insurance company they had on file, I received a bill for $328.15. They said because I did not directly tell them not to use my insurance they are in contract with the insurance company and have to use it. This has happened with another company recently and we worked it out to the cash price.
