This company creates a pop up message on your computer that infects your computer network so that you are unable to access Internet at all. The message on the screen says to call the "Microsoft technicians" at the number listed. After calling the number, they tell you that you are about to lose your entire hard drive. After making you feel hopeless and desperate, they say they can fix it for a minimum of $149.99. They then access your computer remotely (possibly accessing personal information) and download free anti-malware and anti-spyware software and get rid of your infected files. You can watch what they are doing on the screen, but I still don’t trust them. This is such a gimmick and they are VERY convincing even when I am very sceptical and thought this could never happen to me. I tried to disconnect the session, but they kept calling to try to reconnect to my computer. In the end, I lost 5 hours and $150.
