Sigma Partners is working with another scam company called Genesis Investment Properties. Sigma plays the role of the escrow account holder as well as the company that facilitates negotiations with foreign governments to effect the sale of the timeshare. Sigma provides lots of official looking documentation, including bank account statements which show funds being deposited by the buyer. They also provide a fake title insurance document. Eventually, they ask for a wire transfer and in my case they listed an individual as the beneficiary, which is a double red flag. The also provide a fake Mexican id for the individual listed as the beneficiary.
